Private Lives 		or A Genealogist's Nightmare  
 
This is the cover of the 'family album - it is heavy tooled leather with a brass fastening and gold edged pages - Ihave potographed thecontents to show the lovely painting that appears on some pages. Other than the name of a photographer on the back of some of the photographs there is no identification of the people in the photographs. I suppose that everyone knew who they were at this time and never thought that a distant decendent would be trying to trace her family roots!
