Canine
Five in One

  • Canine Distemper - A common infectious disease of dogs and few unvaccinated dogs escape exposure. The disease results in a high death rate and dogs that do survive are often afflicted with nervous symptons for the rest of their life.
  • Canine Hepatitis - Causes death in many infected dogs. The disease damages the liver and recovery in non-fatal cases is slow. Dogs that do recove spread the virus for many months afterwards.
  • Canine Adenovirus Type 2 and Parainfluenza (Kennel Cough) - Vaccination will not completely eliminate the respiratory problems but does play an important part in controlling this disease.
  • Canine Parvovirus - Young dogs and puppies are very susceptable. Antibodies aquired from the mother may render vaccination of puppies ineffective until they are at least 16 weeks old. Unfortuately these maternal antibodies are not always sufficient to protect the puppy, hence the requirement for vaccination. Other viral and bacterial infections, as well as worm infestation may be mistaken for Parvovirus.
  • Leptospirosis - Dogs that survise this disease will have permanent kidney damage. Infected dogs may transmit the disease to man.

    Feline
    Four in One
  • Feline Panleucopenia - feline infectious enteritis (Cat Flu) - A devistating disease of cats with a high death rate particularly among kittens. Older cats that do recover never fully regain their health.
  • Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis - Togather with Pneumonitis know as Snuffles
  • Pneumonitis - Serious respiratory disease among cats. highly contagious, both Rhinotracheitis and Pneumonitis, cause severe illness and weaken resistance to other infections
  • Calici Virus - viral stomatitis - This causes mouth ylcers which prevent the cat from eating resulting in weakness and even starvation.

    Rabies
  • Attacks the brain, is fatal and transmittable to man, chiefly through the bite of an infected animal. Dogs and cats must be vaccinated to protect them from this dreadful disease and protect humans.
