Dear Doctor

I have a Pekingese pup who is 4 months old. I have had him for a month. He has been infected with Billary. I have been using the frontline spray on him generously, been washing him regularly (once a week) with a puppy shampoo that contains a mild dip. I have also been using Karbadust (manufactured by Efekto) to treat the lawn. Is there anything that I am doing wrong or that I can do further to get rid of the ticks and fleas in my yard? We have had dogs and cats previously who have died from Billary and I do not want this to happen to my pup.
