Vizier of the South under Amenhophis III
His Theban tomb is famous for its beauty and for the mixture of both the Amarna and Theban styles of art found there.
He was a contemporary of the co-regency between Amenhophis III and Akhenaton.
He took part in the festivities held for Amenhophis III's first jubilee in the temple of Soleb, in the heart of the Nubian province.
We find evidence in his tomb of the transition from the worship of Amon to that of Aton.
