I am researching my family tree and have a great grandfather who fought in the Boer war (first one I think) and then went on to serve in the BSAP. Not having access to the National Archives I wondered if it would be likely / possible to glean any details of his time in the BSAP? All I have is his name (Robert Watson) which is quite a common
one! He did not have a middle name though which might serve to
remove any confusion with other individuals. |
