CHOCOLATE SWANS

An impressive dessert can be made simply with chocolate and whipped cream, stiff custard, butter cream or ice cream by making these simple chocolate containers.

They also double as an attractive decoration for a special occasion buffet table

Using your basic slab cut oval shapes for the base of the swans

Pipe two swan shaped wings, one head and neck and one tail per swan onto waxed paper as in the same way as for chocolate bird decorations

Remove from the waxed paper when set

Place a blob of any cream filling or ice cream onto the base and arrange the head and neck, wings and tail to make your swan

Make the swan parts ahead of time and store so that you can dash up an impressive ending to a meal in no time at all
