What Does the Camp Look Like?
The Camp

Rifa Conservation Education Camp is an environmental
education camp set up by the Zimbabwe Hunters' Association in conjunction
with the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Management in 1982.
The camp is located in Zimbabwe approximately 5 kilometres upstream
from Chirundu in the Mid Zambezi Valley.

The camp is situated on ground above the Zambez flood
plain |
| The main building serves as both a dining and meeting area and
a classroom |

Accommodation is in dormatories each with their own ablution blocks. |

Elephants and other wildlife wander through the camp |
| Vehicles are used when distances are too far from camp |

Trees abound within the camp area. |
| There is a study block with a museum, library and study rooms
equipted with laboratoryn equipment for use by the students. |
